Our Values, Mission & Focus

We know how significant it is to stop oil leaks. KoossPad is determined to stop any car engine oil leak to keep garage floors, driveways, streets and parking lots free from oil. Our mission is to stop oil leaks, hence offering a cutting edge solution in keeping our water supply clean and free from oil while protecting not only ourselves but nature.

Is clean water necessary??

An oil leak is a staggering issue, which needs to be addressed without any further delay to keep water and the earth safe. In fact, 6 billion people on earth use nearly 30% of the world's total accessible renewable supply of drinking water. By 2025, that value may reach 70%. The world's water supply is running out. Already one person in five has no access to safe drinking water. 97.5% of all water on Earth is salt water, leaving only 2.5% as fresh water, of that, less than 1% of the world's fresh water is accessible for direct human uses. This water is found in lakes, rivers, reservoirs and those underground sources that are shallow enough to be tapped at an affordable cost. Does that ring a bell? That’s right; only this amount is regularly renewed by rain and snowfall, and is therefore available on a sustainable basis. However, every engine oil leak contaminates this water proving how significant it is to stop oil leaks.(1)(2)

What's wrong with leaking car fluids??

Every car oil leak needs to be fixed without any further delay. In fact, oil does not dissolve in water. It lasts a long time and sticks to everything from beach sand to bird feathers. Oil and other petroleum products are toxic to people, wildlife and plants. One quart of motor oil can pollute up to 250,000 gallons of water. A single engine oil leak onto our roads and driveways is washed into our storm drains, and it usually flows directly to a lake or stream. Let’s accept that - a car oil leak is the largest single source of oil pollution in our lakes, streams and rivers. Americans spill 180 million gallons of used engine oil each year into our water. This is 16 times the amount spilled by the Exxon Valdez in Alaska. (3)
